This site collects personal data in one place only: the contact and scoping-call forms. This page explains what we receive, why, who processes it and the rights you have over it.

How we handle personal data

Who we are
brownfield is a Danish-registered advisory business based in Copenhagen, with a second office in Mexico City. For anything relating to personal data, write to contact@brownfieldglobal.com.

What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form or the scoping-call form: name, company, email address, market of interest and your message. The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

Why we collect it
To read and answer your enquiry, and to prepare for a scoping call if you request one. The legal basis under GDPR Article 6(1) is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us, and steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

Who processes it
The site is hosted by Netlify, which also receives and stores what you send through the forms. Your enquiry then reaches us by email, with our email provider. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are commercially relevant to the conversation you started, and deleted when they are not. Ask and we delete the correspondence at any time.

Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a portable copy, by writing to the address above. You can complain to the Danish supervisory authority, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk.

Third-party requests your browser makes
The site serves its pages, typefaces and images from its own domain. One exception: the office maps on the contact page load map tiles from CARTO, whose servers see your IP address as any web server does. CARTO receives nothing you type.
